The green pods are showing up

We are more than half way of summer and I've been getting a grip of how things work in the garden, how you should treat the different varieties of plants, what works on summer and what's not. How bad insects(pest) target different plants, how fungus develops and to attack it before it strikes, how much water my garden needs per week, etc. Today is the 31st day since I sowed my first seeds; the radishes are a total failure in the upper 90's climate as I readed, they need temperatures between 60 and 75 degrees F, so until the end of summer I'll try another shot to see if I get a better outcome in fall.

The most interesting event this week are the little green pods starting to show up on my green bean plants, they need around 25 more days for the harvest to be ready and I already sowed another round of green beans, but this time I got bush blue lake 274, so the new beans should be ready by October 18.

Another vegetable rocking on summer is the swiss chard, this plant really knocks out the sun and laughs in front of his face, the leaves are totally green and I haven't seen a single brown spot in any of them, lucky me, I have 3 growing right now.

Swiss chard.
